IITC was founded by Mr. S. K. Urval and is currently guided by Directors Mr. Vikrant Urval, Sandesh Urval and Samrat Urval, whose shared vision of creating and nurturing capable minds continues to shape the institute’s growth. Their leadership finds true fulfillment in seeing generations of IITCians build meaningful careers in top companies across the globe.
MR. S. K. URVAL, Founder of India International Trade Center (IITC), completed his Post-Graduation in Economics from the University of Bombay. He had the fortune of being taught by the well-known American Economics Professor Dr. Alvin Hansen of Harvard University, under the Ford Foundation Scheme.
He had specialized in International Economics and was a University Scholar. He was a farsighted educationist who visualized the requirement of professional courses to enable enthusiastic youngsters to get established early in life. With this vision, Mr. Urval established IITC in 1966.
Over the past decades, he branched out IITC all over India, keeping in mind the growth and development of various regions. He designed course opportunities that addressed industry needs by providing the latest technologies, qualified faculty, and placement opportunities, helping students reach appreciable professional heights.
As the Founder of IITC, Mr. Urval travelled widely across the world and gained valuable expertise in education and allied subjects. As a Proprietor of IITC, he was dynamic, farsighted, and enthusiastic, and was considered one of the most successful educationists of his time. His approach to the institute was optimistic and practical. He succeeded in earning the love and goodwill of millions of IITCians.
